Instructions
Welcome to the Emporial experience. Below you’ll find step-by-step guidance to help you set up, adjust, and care for your timepiece with confidence.
If your model includes unique functions or complications, please refer to the included guide inside your box or contact our team for personalized assistance.
1. Setting the Time
-
Gently pull the crown (the small knob on the side of your watch) two clicks outward.
-
Rotate the crown clockwise or counterclockwise until the correct time is displayed.
-
Once set, push the crown back in to its original position to start the movement.
Tip: Avoid setting the time between 8 PM and 4 AM to prevent damaging the movement, especially on models with a date complication.
2. Adjusting the Date (If Applicable)
-
Pull the crown one click outward to access the date function.
-
Turn the crown to adjust the date — do not force it.
-
Once done, push the crown back in securely.
Reminder: Never adjust the date when the watch is transitioning between days (typically between 8 PM and 4 AM).
3. Winding Your Watch
If your Emporial timepiece is manual or automatic, it may require occasional winding:
-
Manual watches: Turn the crown clockwise (while it’s in the normal position) 15–20 full turns. You’ll feel resistance once fully wound — don’t over-wind.
-
Automatic watches: Daily wear keeps the movement powered. If not worn regularly, wind it gently using the method above.
4. Adjusting the Strap
Emporial watches may come with either a leather strap or a metal bracelet:
-
Leather straps: Use the clasp to fasten at your preferred hole. If resizing is needed, consider professional adjustment or strap replacement.
-
Metal bracelets: We recommend professional resizing for a perfect fit. Some models may include a tool, but we suggest visiting a jeweler or watchmaker to avoid scratches or damage.
5. Water Resistance
-
Always check your model’s specific water resistance rating.
-
Ensure the crown is fully pushed in or screwed down before any exposure to water.
-
Avoid wearing your watch in hot showers, saunas, or during activities with high water pressure.
6. Trouble Starting the Watch?
If your watch has stopped or arrived inactive:
-
Give it a few winds manually using the crown.
-
Gently rock the watch side to side to engage the rotor on automatic models.
-
If issues persist, reach out to our team and we’ll assist you directly.
