We didn't start with a factory.
We started with a workbench.
Emporial was built by hand — and that's never going to change.
It started with Seikos.
Long before Emporial existed, we were buying cheap Seikos and taking them apart — swapping dials, modifying cases, learning movements from the inside out. What began as a hobby became an education that no watchmaking school teaches.
That the difference between a watch that feels extraordinary and one that merely looks it comes down to decisions most brands never even think about.
The deeper we went, the more we saw the same problem everywhere. Watches built to a price point, assembled by the thousands, sold with the language of craft but none of the reality. And on the other end — truly handmade pieces that cost more than a car. Nothing in between for the person who knows the difference and isn't yet in a position to spend a small fortune.
That gap is why Emporial exists.
There is a certain kind of person Emporial was made for.
Someone who has developed a taste for the finer things before the finances have fully caught up. Who understands quality, notices the details, and refuses to wear something that doesn't reflect who they're becoming — not just who they are today.
The watch world has never served him well. Either it talks down to him with mass-produced pieces dressed up in premium language, or it prices him out entirely. Emporial exists in the space between — handcrafted watches built to a standard that doesn't compromise, at a price that doesn't require it.
This is a brand for the ambitious. For the ones still on their way up. We built it because we were that person too.
Not every wrist is the same. Not every story is either.
If you have a vision — a specific dial, a colour, a combination that doesn't exist yet — we'll build it. Every custom Emporial is a one-off, made entirely to your specification, by the same hands that make every other piece.
Every Emporial watch begins the same way — with an order, not a production run.
Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for a buyer. When you order, we build. Each component is selected, each detail inspected, each piece assembled by hand from start to finish. It takes longer than a factory. That's the point.
At the heart of every watch sits the NH35 — a Japanese automatic movement chosen for one reason above all else: it lasts. Reliable, repairable, and proven over decades. The kind of movement you can hand down.
What leaves our hands has to be something we'd wear ourselves. That's the only quality standard that matters.
Handcrafted. Made to order. Built to last.
This is just the beginning.
Every watch we make is a step toward something bigger — a brand built on craft, not compromise. If that means something to you, you're in the right place.
